Mexico's doublespeak double standard

Few Protections for Migrants to Mexico

"Considered felons by the government, these migrants fear detention, rape and robbery. Police and soldiers hunt them down at railroads, bus stations and fleabag hotels. Sometimes they are deported; more often officers simply take their money."
I have only two points here: 1) It isn't just the Mexican government, the kleptocracy is endemic to the nation and, perhaps, is rooted at a cultural level; 2) The examples of corruption and evil pointed out by this article are the very sorts of "contributions" we can expect to have made to our society, permanently scarring it, if we do not start some sort of deprogramming efforts for folks who actually have been conned into believing that America is, historically, a tolerant and multicultural nation.

For instance, had these invaders shown up about 120 years ago in such numbers, we'd have rounded them up and either deported them or put them on reservations. Those who resisted would have been dead. Had they shown up in the 1920's, we'd have had no problem with driving them back across the border. Today, much of our society is so emasculated that it cannot even see the roots of its demise, even as it parades arrogantly in plain view. The Senate's daily dose of manhood juice appears to be spiked with Cindy Sheehan's estrogen.

Sometimes I think there isn't a Y-chromosome in the lot of them.
