Who would be better suited to keep you safe, Julie Myers or Granny?

Lonewacko gets right to the point on Julie Myers' appointment as head of BICE:

"Bush has made several recess appointments, including Julie Myers to head the Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE or BICE).

Almost everyone agrees that she has no real qualifications for the job.

However, she is eminently qualified in Bush administration terms:

* she's the niece of Air Force Gen. Richard Myers
* she worked for Michael Chertoff when he was at the Justice Department
* she's now married to his current chief of staff."

If the Bush Administration insists on putting such real people with fictitious credentials in charge of my nation's and my family's security, I'd feel safer if he chose fictitious people with real credentials. For instance:

Amost everyone would agree that she has great qualifications for the job.

However, she is eminently unqualified in Bush Administration terms:

*She's not related to anyone in the administration, nor does she know Jack Abramoff
*She's good with a shotgun and won't parse the truth for anyone
*She has experience with a "Cee-ment pond," which makes her more qualified than Myers to build the "Cee-ment wall" that Bush doesn't want
