Seeking comments on site redesign...

Over time, a lot of junk code had crept into my site template. I just couldn't stand it any more. This new design allows me to place an image at the top of my page just by sending a new picture to my server. I've decided to start with my holiday Christmas greeting.

How do you like the design? And how about the greeting?
