Slowly, people are waking up to dangerous truths about Islam

Having just recently taken a bashing for suggesting on some of the of the other "conservative" blog comment threads that the West needs to take a hard look at Islam itself, not just "Islamofascists" or "Radial Islamists," I'm encouraged to see that people are beginning to write and speak of possibly doing so.

For our own survival we must get beyond civilizational kowtowing to those who dangerously proscribe even the thought that Islam may harbor moral absolutes that are incompatible with our own. We can start by profiling in all of our security screening processes.

A History Test
Doug Giles, Townhall.com

"To anyone who says that we are targeting Muslim men between the ages of 17-40, and that such narrowness is profiling, all I’ve got to say to that deduction is . . . No %@&*!

They are the ones who drew their own silhouette. All we’re doing is connecting the bigger-than-Dallas-dots, doofus. And by the way, this profile has not changed for hundreds of years. Sure, there will be the stray blonde chick who leaves her Baptist roots and joins their jihad; but by and large, it’s going to be a Muslim dude who’s anywhere between his teens and his mid-life crisis who will be the villain for the next 700 Olympics."
What Is the ACLU Thinking?
Sher Zieve, WEBCommentary.com

"At the time of the attacks against us, their country or countries of origin were not known. However, soon thereafter—they were. Yet, after the 9/11 carnage, the ACLU of Northern California issued the following statement and warning on its website: “Racial profiling is as flawed an approach to the war on terrorism as it was to the war on drugs.” 1 So, even shortly after 9/11 the ACLU was warning “we the people” against racial profiling of the terrorists and potential terrorists who brought their war to us. Note: This very much corresponds with my belief that the ACLU and other leftist groups would rather die as “sensitive” PC-perpetrators than live as rational human beings. The problem is that the ACLU appears to be insisting that all of us must die with them. I, for one, am against this thought process that leads to suicide. Or, is the real problem that the ACLU’s true considerations are for the terrorists or potential terrorists, as opposed to the protection of American people? I have to wonder."
Everyone Always Misunderstands Islam
Pete Fisher, Michnews.com

"I am sorry folks, but I believe we understand all about Islam we need to understand. As the saying goes, “Not all Muslims are terrorists, but all terrorists are Muslims.” I think it is high time we demand that Islam understand US, and that Muslims get the picture that if they are to live in OUR nations and OUR society, we need not change anything. They dislike the way women dress? Move back home. Dislike they way we teach our children? Go back home. Dislike the way we practice freedom? Dislike our religion? The border works both ways.

Do not try and infiltrate Western culture and attempt to change it by means of terror. We are who we are, and we do not have to change for anyone, any religion, any other culture."
The dangers of multiculturalism
Wesley Pruden, Insight on the News

"There's a growing consensus that the British have been taken for suckers by the Muslim immigration wave that has overwhelmed the sceptr'd isle. The discovery that the suicide bombers of July 7 were homegrown, second-generation Englishmen, first bewildered many, then angered most. The diversity that everyone was encouraged to celebrate turns out to be fatuous, fraudulent and sometimes fatal.

The one-sided celebration of diversity is beginning to grate as well. Julie Burchill, a columnist for the Times of London, notes that 'English toddlers are being forced to celebrate the Muslim festival of Eid when they are still trying to get their heads about the Easter bunny.' There's a sordid creepiness in the way the diversity of even the dead -- that Muslims are killed along with everybody else -- is celebrated by those who can't get their own heads around the fact that the Islamic haters hate us simply for taking up space in a world that would otherwise be all theirs, with nobody to complain about the ranting, raping and beheading that is the worship ritual of the radicals. "
To paraphrase the common concept about terrorism, not all Muslim religious clerics preach death to the West, but all religious clerics who preach death to the West are of Islam.

Attacks on UK will continue, radical cleric says
Reuters

"Bakri said he would like Britain to become an Islamic state but feared he would be deported before his dream was realized.

'I would like to see the Islamic flag fly, not only over number 10 Downing Street, but over the whole world,' he said."
