Illegal aliens voted, might have cost GWB electoral votes, and he still doesn't get it

A decade or so ago, I spent a lot of time doing precinct-level analyses of Miami elections. I already knew that non-citizen voting was a serious problem. Unfortunately, it is the sort of problem a non-hispanic white guy like me might be able to prove at the price of ending up several miles off the Florida coast in cement shoes.

But when GOP officials recognize and define the problem publically, then there's hope that we can take our elections back from the deportable class.

Republican National Committee Members Tiptoe on Immigration Issue

"Wisconsin GOP National Committeewoman Mary Buestrin made a poignant observation. 'I can't address how the President feels on this issue, but I know how I feel,' she said. 'There are so many voting illegally in Wisconsin that the illegally cast votes may well have cost George W. Bush our state's electoral votes in a very close race. Something has to be done.'"
